Flavor Sources is a skincare and personal care OEM/ODM service brand operated by Dongguan Flavor Sources Technology Co., Ltd. We provide private label skincare manufacturing support for global beauty brands, importers, distributors, e-commerce sellers, skincare startups, spa chains and B2B buyers.
Our services include product information, custom formula development, packaging design, sample development, bulk production coordination, quality inspection support and export support.

5. OEM/ODM Project Communication
When you submit an inquiry, request a sample or discuss an OEM/ODM project with Flavor Sources, you agree to provide accurate and complete information, such as product type, target market, formula direction, packaging preference, branding needs, expected order quantity, destination country, regulatory needs and timeline.
Flavor Sources will use the information you provide to evaluate your project and prepare suitable product suggestions, sample plans, quotation references or cooperation options. If your project information is incomplete, quotations, lead times and recommendations may change after further confirmation.
6. Quotations
Any quotation provided by Flavor Sources is based on the information available at the time of quotation. Quotations may be affected by formula complexity, ingredient cost, packaging selection, printing method, order quantity, testing requirements, exchange rates, raw material availability, production schedule, shipping terms and destination market requirements.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, quotations are for reference and negotiation only and do not create a binding order until both parties confirm the final commercial terms. Flavor Sources reserves the right to revise quotations if project requirements or costs change.
7. Samples
Samples may be provided for formula testing, packaging review, texture confirmation, fragrance evaluation or quality reference. Sample availability, cost, lead time and shipping cost depend on product type and destination country — see our Sample Order Policy for details.
Sample approval does not automatically guarantee that bulk production will be identical in every minor detail, as natural variation may occur due to production scale, raw material batches, packaging materials or manufacturing conditions. However, Flavor Sources aims to support stable production based on confirmed samples and approved project specifications.
8. Orders
A bulk production order is confirmed only after both parties agree on key commercial and production details, including product specification, formula or sample confirmation, packaging, quantity, unit price, payment terms, lead time, shipping terms, quality requirements, export documents and artwork confirmation.
Flavor Sources is not responsible for delays caused by incomplete confirmation, delayed payment, late artwork submission, packaging changes, regulatory changes, shipping issues or force majeure events.
9. Payment Terms
Payment terms must be confirmed in writing before production starts. Full details are listed on our Payment Terms page.
Payment may include sample fees, packaging fees, mold fees, design fees, deposit and balance payment, depending on the order. Flavor Sources may require payment confirmation before starting sample development, material purchasing, packaging production or bulk manufacturing. Bank charges, transaction fees and currency exchange costs are the buyer’s responsibility unless otherwise agreed in writing.
10. Lead Time and Delivery
Sample lead time and bulk production lead time depend on product type, formula complexity, packaging availability, order quantity and final confirmation status. Any lead time provided by Flavor Sources is an estimated timeframe unless clearly stated as a binding delivery commitment in a written agreement.
Shipping terms follow our Shipping Policy and internationally recognized Incoterms® rules published by the International Chamber of Commerce. Shipping time may be affected by logistics providers, customs clearance, weather, holidays, port congestion or other factors outside our direct control.
11. Packaging and Artwork
For private label projects, buyers are responsible for providing accurate logo files, label content, artwork, claims, barcode information, legal text and market-specific packaging requirements.
Flavor Sources may support packaging design communication and layout adjustment, but buyers are responsible for ensuring final packaging content complies with destination market laws. Before printing, buyers should carefully check and approve all artwork, labels, spelling, claims, language and barcodes. Once production is approved, changes may result in additional cost and extended lead time.
12. Regulatory Responsibility
Skincare and personal care products may be subject to different laws, registration requirements, labeling rules, ingredient restrictions and import rules in different countries. Flavor Sources may provide ingredient references, export documents or general support, but buyers are responsible for confirming the regulatory requirements of their own target market. Buyers should consult local regulatory experts, import agents, testing laboratories or legal advisors before launching products in their market.
13. Product Claims
Product claims, marketing statements, label wording and advertising language must comply with the buyer’s destination market requirements. Flavor Sources may provide general product concept suggestions (hydration, soothing, cleansing, brightening-inspired care, anti-aging care), but buyers are responsible for verifying whether specific claims can be used legally in their market. Medical, therapeutic or drug-like claims should not be used unless legally permitted and properly supported.
14. Quality Control
Flavor Sources supports stable product quality through production coordination, packaging checking and testing & inspection support. Quality requirements — product appearance, texture, fragrance, filling volume, packaging condition, label accuracy, carton marking and inspection standards — should be confirmed before production.
If the buyer has specific third-party inspection needs or acceptance criteria, these should be communicated before order confirmation. Quality concerns are reviewed based on order records, approved samples, production documents, photos and inspection reports.
15. After-Sales Communication
If you find a product, packaging or shipment issue after receiving goods, please contact our After-Sales Service team as soon as possible with the order number, product name, photos or videos, quantity affected, carton and batch information, and a description of the issue.
Flavor Sources will review the issue based on available evidence and confirmed order terms. Solutions depend on the issue type, responsibility confirmation and the commercial agreement between both parties.
16. Intellectual Property
All website content — text, images, layouts, graphics, icons, design elements, logos and brand materials — belongs to Flavor Sources or its authorized content providers unless otherwise stated. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell or publish our website content for unauthorized commercial purposes without written permission.
Buyer-provided logos, trademarks, artwork and brand materials remain the property of the buyer or their rightful owner. By providing brand materials, you confirm that you have the right to use them for the requested OEM/ODM project.
17. Confidential Information
During OEM/ODM project communication, both parties may share business information, product ideas, formula directions, packaging plans or pricing information. Flavor Sources respects reasonable confidentiality expectations in B2B cooperation.
If a project requires stronger confidentiality obligations, both parties may sign a separate non-disclosure agreement. Website inquiries alone do not automatically create a formal confidentiality agreement unless otherwise confirmed in writing.

This website may contain links to third-party websites, tools or resources, provided for convenience only. Flavor Sources does not control and is not responsible for the content, policies or security of third-party websites. 19. Limitation of Liability

Flavor Sources’ responsibility for any confirmed order issue shall be handled according to the written agreement, confirmed order terms and applicable commercial arrangements between the parties.
20. Force Majeure
Flavor Sources shall not be responsible for delays or failure to perform obligations caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemic-related restrictions, labor disruptions, transportation delays, customs delays, government actions, war, fire, power failure, raw material shortage, port congestion or other force majeure events.
21. Governing Law and International Buyers
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, where Dongguan Flavor Sources Technology Co., Ltd. is registered, unless a separate written agreement between the parties specifies otherwise.
Flavor Sources cooperates with buyers in North America, Europe, South America, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and Africa. Nothing in these Terms of Service limits any mandatory consumer or data protection rights you hold under your local law — including the EU GDPR, California CCPA/CPRA, Brazil LGPD, Hong Kong PDPO, regional PDPA and PDPL laws and South Africa POPIA. Data-related rights are described in our Privacy Policy.
For confirmed orders, both parties may agree in writing on a specific governing law, jurisdiction or arbitration arrangement (for example, arbitration administered by a recognized international arbitration institution).
